Harry McArthur – Certificated Equine Dental Technition

Harry McArthur is a licensed equine dental technician based in Canterbury, New Zealand who has been working with horses since 2011. 

He received his Certificate IV in Work Practices For Equine Dental Technicians from Melbourne University and South West Tafe and is an accredited practitioner of the Equine Dental Association of Australia.

He has previously worked in Singapore and Japan providing dental care to thoroughbred racehorses. He continues to work with horses worldwide, focusing his practice in Canterbury and the rest of the lower South Island.

Horses have always been Harry’s passion and a part of his family since birth. Harry now combines his passion for horses, and offers his education and experience in dentistry to the equine community. 

How Harry Works

Harry describes his approach as relaxed and professional, working with the horse for the horse’s best interests. 

Harry works with hand floats, does not sedate and is experienced working with difficult horses without sedation.
